Maryland's Senators
Senator Barbara Mikulski
We want Sen. Mikulski to become a leader for peace--she isn't now. PeaceAction West gave her a peace score of only 25% for 2007 (110th Congress).

Senator Ben Cardin
Sen. Cardin ran on a platform of bringing the troops home. He has voted in support of some of the bills we have cared about. However, we have been disappointed that his record is not better. His peace score from PeaceAction West for 2007 (110th Congress) was 50%.

Montgomery County's Representatives
Representative Albert Wynn (D)
Until the 2006 election, Rep. Wynn had not been a voice for peace in the Congress. However, he has changed his position significantly on the Iraq war and occupation since that time. PeaceAction West gave him a 50% score on peace issues for 2006 ( 109th Congress) and a 60% score for 2007 (110th Congress).

Representative Chris Van Hollen (D)
Rep. Van Hollen has not been a strong leader for peace, and since the Democrats took power, his peace score has deteriorated considerably. PeaceAction West's Congressional score card for Rep. Van Hollen was 79% in 2006 (109th Congress) but only 52% for 2007 (110th Congress).

Representative Roscoe Bartlett (R)
Rep. Bartlett consistently votes in favor of keeping troops in Iraq and of fully funding the war. His peace score from PeaceAction West for 2007 was 5%. He is a disgrace to our county.
